Bill JenkinsBill, a Managing Principal at The Laramie Company, has worn many hats in the commercial real estate industry since 1982. Heading up retail/office transactions, tenant/buyer representation, land sales, property and asset management, Bill’s expertise in managing organizational dynamics combined with deal making has achieved tangible and profitable results for his clients.

Currently leasing all of the retail space in Downtown Westminster for four separate developers in mixed-use projects, Bill and his team have achieved over 50% pre-leasing within 75,000 square feet of first generation retail space. Also leasing the retail portions of McGregor Square, a project under development by The Colorado Rockies, Bill and his team recently signed The Tattered Cover Book Store as an anchor tenant. Bill is well versed in office leasing and asset management, transacting space within the historic Equitable Building and other select office properties.

Prior to joining The Laramie Company, Bill started his career managing 1.6 million square feet of office for The Farb Companies in Houston, Texas. Bill went on to serve as Senior Vice President for Bramalea, Inc. overseeing 14 million square feet of office and retail space across 6 cities. As Certified Property Manager, Bill’s clients have included Brookfield Properties, Trizec, Prudential Realty and Entertainment Properties Trust. Named Property Manager of the Year by IREM and a recipient of Building of the Year from BOMA, Bill’s skill set and experience have been recognized nationally.

Bill graduated with a BA in Urban Planning from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, IL. and attended Deerfield Academy, Deerfield, MA. He was an All-American Swimmer and an inductee into the Lake Forest College Sports Hall of Fame. He sits on several real estate boards and is active with the International Council of Shopping Centers.

In his personal time, Bill enjoys competitive swimming, recently completing the Alcatraz Sharkfest Swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco. He is also a die-hard Rockies fan. He and Mary Beth have been married for 35 years and have two daughters who live in New York City and London.
